The health & well-being benefits of Muaythai are hard to compare to other sports. Fitness, conditioning, confidence, self-defense, self-discipline, self-motivation & competition are but a few.
It doesn't matter your fitness or abilities, we provide Muaythai training accessible to everyone.
All students are encouraged to challenge themselves, focus on achievable goals & gain a better understanding of themselves under the coaching of former professional Muaythai athlete Mat Reid.
We train in the traditional Thai way with warmup, skipping, bag-work, pad-work & drills. Mat Reid has spent a long-time training in some of the most famous & challenging gyms in Thailand bringing these training systems to Shepparton.
Learning boxing, kicking, knees, elbows & clinching in class will provide you with a solid fitness workout, and these skills can be a great base for self-defense.
Beginners classes are from 5:30pm to 6:15pm, focusing on improving fitness, strength & learning the basics of Muaythai. There is no sparring or clinching for beginners.
Intermediate classes are from 5:30pm to 6:30pm which includes sparring/clinching.
Advanced students & fighters train from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, focusing more on technique, sparring & clinching.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday classes are run by Mat, Tuesday & Thursday classes are run by our most experienced fighter Jared Bunn.
Beginners
Monday to Friday: 5:30pm - 6:15pm
Advanced/Fighters
Monday to Friday: 5:30pm - 7:30pm
